women.
They do not:
- interfere with a womans ability to breastfeed,
- affect the quality or quantity of breastmilk, or
- affect infant growth and development.
Now, let us discuss types of nonhormonal contraceptive methods:
lactational amenorrhea method (or LAM), barrier methods, intrauterine
devices (or IUDs), periodic abstinence, withdrawal and female
and male sterilization.
