This training module is designed to engage the learner. Adult
learning and retention improve when the learner participates
actively in the learning process. Client-Provider
Interaction can be used as either an interactive self-study
program or as a participatory, group training experience. If
you are a presenter working on group training, please use the
Go To Presenters Info tab at the top right of this screen.
It is expected that completing this curriculum will take approximately
three hours.
The self-study curriculum is divided into four sections, which
are accessible by clicking on the navigation tabs above:
- Introduction
- Contents
- Post-test
- References
The Introduction
section provides a brief introduction to the training module,
instructions and suggestions for use of this module, and an
overview of the Contraceptive Technology
and Reproductive Health Series. This section should be
read through completely for accurate and optimal use of the
module.
The Contents
section is composed of illustrative graphics and narrative text.
The majority of the information on this topic is located in
this section.
The Post-test
section includes an interactive post-test and an online answer
key. If you are interested in receiving a certificate of completion
from FHI, you will need to follow the instructions in the Certificate
of Completion section.
The References
section includes the various references used in compiling the
information in this module. It is recommended that the learner
use these references to expand on the information presented
in this module. Also included is the summary fact sheet for
client-provider interaction that can be used for review or future
reference. The fact sheet summarizes information
on client-provider interaction and is a great resource for further
study.
