Instructions: Read the descriptions below to determine which file(s) will suit your needs. Click the link to access the information or file.

Presentation and Suggested Narrative

If you have PowerPoint software installed on your computer, use one of these files to make adaptations to the slides or suggested narrative in the presentation. Right click on the link (colour or black/white) and select "Save Target As...". In the dialogue box, select the desired location on your computer, then save the file to that location. Open PowerPoint from your computer, open the saved file, make your desired adaptations, and save the file. To view the slide show, open the saved file, go to View, and select Slideshow. Use the keyboard left and right arrow keys to move forward or backward through the presentation or right click the mouse to select a specific slide. You can also print your presentation in a variety of formats including slides, slides plus speaker notes, and handouts in colour, black/white, and greyscale.

If you have PowerPoint Viewer installed, use the files above to view or print the slides from the presentation. These files contain either colour or black/white slides that can be displayed on a computer monitor or a large screen using a digital multimedia projector or printed to a colour or black/white laser printer. The Viewer application can be downloaded free of charge from Microsoft's Web site. To view the presentation, click one of the files above. Use the keyboard left and right arrow keys to move forward or backward through the presentation or right click the mouse to select a specific slide.

If you have word processing software installed, use the file below to edit the speaker notes and write your own narrative to accompany the existing slides. Print the file and use it as a script for your presentation.

If you do NOT have PowerPoint or word processing software, use one of the PDF files below to print either colour or black/white slides with the suggested narrative (one slide with accompanying narrative per page) using the Adobe Reader application. The Adobe Reader application can be downloaded free of charge from Adobe's Web site.

The pages from this file can be bound together with other materials (e.g., the module references, acknowledgments, fact sheets, and selected other resources) and distributed to providers who are interested in learning more about this topic but who do not have access to a computer.
