This section of the presentation discusses how to make reproductive
health services more accessible to young adults. This information
will be particularly useful for those involved in planning and
designing programs for youth. The section is divided into three
parts.
We first summarize who can provide services for youth, including
what types of skills and attitudes providers need in order to
serve youth most effectively. Then, we discuss what reproductive
health information and education young people need and what
research has shown about the impact of sexuality education.
The last section discusses where information and services can
be provided, beginning with a summary of research on the most
important elements in these programs.
