Below is a collection of presentation materials for the Research Ethics Training Curriculum. The files are all in Adobe© Acrobat© .pdf format. These files can be viewed and printed with the Adobe© Acrobat© Reader. (Users with a fully functional Adobe© Acrobat© program will have access to additional options when opening these .pdf files. Although these files are intended for print and/or viewing only, you can refer to your Adobe© Acrobat© documentation for information on these additional options.) 

If needed, the Adobe
© Acrobat© Reader version 5.0 is available for install.

  • If you are viewing this curriculum on the website: click on the link at the bottom of this page to go to the Adobe Website and download the free version of Acrobat© Reader.

  • If you are viewing this curriculum from the CD: the Acrobat© Reader 
    program is located in a folder on the CD.

  • If you chose to install the Acrobat© Reader program from the start-up menu of the CD, you are ready to continue with opening the .pdf 
    files.

If you are using the CD version of this curriculum: a complete copy of the curriculum is also available as a Microsoft® PowerPoint® slide show. For presenters with access to the Microsoft® PowerPoint® program, the files are located in a folder on the CDROM.

Color Slides for Online Presentation (66 screens)
This .pdf file contains color slides for presentation on a computer screen or projection from a computer. The .pdf file format can be used like a slide show. 
For optimal viewing, it is recommended that you save this file to your computer before running the slide show. (Click on the icon above to open the file, then save the file to your computer by using the disk icon on the navigation bar. For presentation, open
Acrobat© Reader from your computer, then open the Online Presentation with the Reader. Once the file is open, go to View and select Full Screen. Use the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard to move forward or backward through the presentation. Press the Escape key to go back to normal view.)


Master Slides for Overhead Presentation (66 pages)
This .pdf file contains black-line master slides for presentation from an overhead projector. Open the file, then print the slides for copying onto transparencies.


Presenter Notes (66 pages)
This .pdf file contains the presenter narrative that corresponds with the slide show. Each page has one slide and the notes pertaining to that slide. Print these notes to follow along with the slide show.


Student Handouts - 3-Slides per page (22 pages)
This .pdf file contains pages to handout to the students. Each page displays three slides with space for taking notes during the presentation. Print these pages and distribute them to your students. 


Case Studies (17 pages)
This .pdf file contains eight case studies relating to the curriculum. Print copies of the case studies and distribute to each student for discussion during the presentation.


Pre-Test, Post Test, and Evaluation (22 pages)
This .pdf file contains a Pre-Test, a Post Test, a test answer key, and an Evaluation. Print copies of the tests and distribute to your students. Also print copies of the Evaluation form for each student. The Evaluation must be completed and mailed to FHI to receive a Certificate of Completion.
