FHI/Vietnam Programs Use Multiple Strategies
To prevent the spread of HIV, FHI uses three main strategies in its prevention and care work in Vietnam:
- Strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Health/National AIDS Standing Bureau/AIDS Division
- Develop and expand the coverage of effective behavior change and HIV/AIDS/STI risk-reduction interventions in the provinces where FHI works
- Develop and support the implementation of community-based care and support interventions and materials for people living with HIV/AIDS
