FHI Works with Private Sector to Promote Safe and Effective Vasectomy
In Honduras, FHI is providing technical assistance to PSP-One, a USAID project that aims to increase the private sector's provision of high-quality reproductive health and family planning services in developing countries. Specifically, we are helping PSP-One monitor and evaluate their efforts to promote vasectomy, which include training physicians in the no-scalpel technique and reimbursing them the same amount as they receive for performing female sterilization.
