Treatment and Care for HIV-positive Injecting Drug Users
JUNE 2008 — FHI, along with ASEAN, USAID, and WHO have published a 12 module training course for clinicians who provide—or expect to provide—care and treatment, including antiretroviral therapy, for HIV-positive injecting drug users.

Technical Support for HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Treatment Program
USAID's Regional Development Mission Asia (RDM/A) has contracted FHI to deliver services under the regional Technical Support for HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care, and Treatment Program. This program provides country-specific technical assistance in China, Lao PDR, Papua New Guinea, and Thailand. The project also
- provides regional leadership to foster a better understanding of and response to the changing dynamics of HIV epidemics
- supports HIV/AIDS initiatives at the regional and national levels to expand coverage of interventions for those at high risk of HIV exposure
- builds capacity to increase regional learning
