No. 17. HIV Counseling and Testing Manual for Youth Provides Valuable Tool. (PDF, 131 KB) YouthNet developed this tool to provide guidance on counseling youth, approaches to HIV counseling and testing, information on other STIs and contraception, and other resources.
No. 16. Internet Tool Supports Youth Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Policy Development and Implementation. (PDF, 131 KB) The Youth Policy Web site provides a database of policies, plus many more resources such as fact sheets and other information on policy and youth.
No. 15. National Youth Week in Tanzania Offers Opportunity for HIV Education. (PDF, 126 KB) YouthNet and partners sponsor competitions, performances, and materials on abstinence and faithfulness to reach tens of thousands during this national week-long celebration.
No. 14. Si Mchezo! Magazine Educates and Entertains Rural Tanzanian Youth. (PDF, 142 KB) This magazine in Tanzania targets rural, out-of-school youth with articles featuring youth and their stories written in simple, direct Swahili, which appeal to youth as well as other community members.
No. 13. Christian Family Life Education Program in Namibia. (PDF, 126 KB) Churches in Namibia are now approaching taboo subjects about sexuality using a new family life education curriculum through workshops, parent-youth activities, pastor forums, and other activities.
No. 12. Services for Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT). (PDF, 129 KB) A YouthNet research study conducted in 2004 assessed use patterns of PMTCT services by adolescents compared to older youth, as well as content of PMTCT services, factors affecting use of these services by youth, and other issues.
No. 11. School-Based Peer Education Programs Popular in Ghana. (PDF, 128 KB) A YouthNet research study compared knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors between two sets of schools, focusing on the impact of a peer education program.

(PDF, 130 KB) This population-ased survey in the Iringa region of Tanzania conducted by YouthNet provides a comprehensive picture of youth's knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding HIV and reproductive health.
