The Bangkok YouthForce, a continuation of the work started by the Barcelona YouthForce, is an international network of youth activists and adult allies who worked to raise awareness of youth at the XV International AIDS Conference in Bangkok.
The Bangkok YouthForce worked to highlight youth issues related to HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment.
Newsletters
During the conference, three newsletters were published, with a fourth issue to follow shortly.
Bangkok YouthForce Newsletter Issue 1. This issue features articles by former U.S. President Bill Clinton, pop star Alicia Keys, a personal story about HIV from a YouthForce member, and highlights the activities of the Bangkok YouthForce at the XV International AIDS Conference.
Bangkok YouthForce Newsletter Issue 2. This issue features articles written by YouthForce members at the conference in Bangkok about the opening ceremonies, the effects of AIDS on women in Argentina, and a letter from Debrework Zewdie, co-chair of the Leadership Program Committee (XV International AIDS Conference) and director, Global HIV/AIDS Program, World Bank.
Bangkok YouthForce Newsletter Issue 3. This issue features articles written by YouthForce members on media and HIV, voluntary counseling and testing, and the meet the leaders session.
