How to Conduct Effective Pretests: Ensuring Meaningful BCC Messages and Materials (Family Health International). This handbook's main objective is to help field level planners and implementers conduct simple, effective pretests of BCC materials for HIV/AIDS prevention. It will help you understand what pretesting is and why it is important, learn different methods of pretesting, determine whether materials are easily readable, design and conduct simple, effective testing surveys, and analyze and use pretest information to improve materials.
