Partners

To be effective, programs and activities for young people must resonate with the target audience. YouthNet includes young people as full partners, involved in all aspects of the programs.

The following organizations are key members of the YouthNet team:

·         Family Health International (FHI)
FHI is the lead organization, with 30 years of experience developing and managing large, complex, multi-country programs, and research. Areas of expertise include STI/HIV/AIDS care and prevention, family planning, contraceptive technology, adolescent and maternal health, improvement of provider practices, gender issues, reproductive health services integration, public health monitoring and evaluation, and strategic dissemination of public health information.

·         CARE USA (CARE)
For 50 years, CARE has successfully coordinated and managed health programs and assisted in community mobilization and community-based initiatives throughout the world. Such expertise is critical for building the local partnerships necessary for sustainable adolescent health programs.

·         RTI International (RTI)
RTI brings 20 years of experience in policy and advocacy issues addressing challenges in education reform, population studies, HIV/AIDS prevention, reproductive health, and gender issues.

YouthNet also works in close concert with global youth networks such as the United Nations Population Fund, the World Young Women's Christian Association, the World Organization of the Scout Movement, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, and affiliates of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

In addition, YouthNet collaborates with far-reaching communication media including Music Television (MTV) Networks International, Global Action Network, and SATELLIFE.
