In the fifth edition of Snapshots from the Field, Family Health International (FHI) examines the Kien Kes Health and Education Network (KKHEN), which operates out of a Buddhist temple in Battambang, Cambodia.

Despite many obstacles—a shoestring budget, no medical or mental health personnel or equipment, and not a single paid employee—KKHEN has made inroads in Battambang, a western province along the Thai border.

In this article, FHI examines how one faith-based organization mobilizes community compassion with few resources through:
