MARCH 2009 — FHI is committed to optimizing outcomes for children in disease-burdened communities and establishing a child-focused, family-centered, and community-based approach to addressing children's needs. FHI Quality Improvement Guidelines for Care and Support Programs for Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children was designed to support FHI's implementing partners in improving the quality of their programs and services for vulnerable children and youth. These guidelines are aligned with PEPFAR guidance, and designed to ensure that vulnerable children receive a complete set of comprehensive services.
