FEBRUARY 2009 — Behavior Change and Social Mobilization Strategy was developed by Corridors of Hope II to guide systematic programming that promotes behavioral change as a means of preventing HIV transmission. The strategy is thus a theoretical and practical framework for the project's behavior-change communication interventions. It also explains how change occurs in individuals and communities. The implementation of the strategy depends on use of the Reflect Methodology and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Tools Guide. The project's behavior change and social mobilization teams have been trained in the highly participatory Reflect methodology to promote social change at community levels and behavior change at individual levels. |
