JUNE 2009 — These adult and adolescent palliative care standard operating procedures (SOPs) outline the essential requirements and processes for palliative care at the district or intermediate healthcare level. They are also applicable to HIV care providers at primary health centers, community and home-based care services, and tertiary facilities. They may also be adapted to local circumstances.
