Acknowledgments
This monograph was prepared by Professor David Wilson and the Project Support Group of Zimbabwe for Family Health International (FHI) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of a regional assessment conducted for USAID's "Corridors of Hope" Initiative in southern Africa.
The assessment was carried out under the Implementing AIDS Prevention and Care (IMPACT) Project, which is managed by FHI and funded by USAID. Karen Bulsara of Population Services International (PSI), one of FHI's partners in the IMPACT Project, managed research on condom access and condom social marketing issues as part of the assessment in the four border areas.
Members of the research team that conducted the assessment were: David Wilson, research director; two research managers, Rita Marima and Noleen Dube; a field coordinator, Mr. Richard Matikanya; and three field researchers, Zanele Maseko, Bhulebenkosi Tshabangu and Liliosa Urayi.
