FHI/Malawi Integrates Nutrition into Home-based Care and Support of Orphans and Vulnerable Children
OCTOBER 2006 — For the past year, FHI/Malawi has integrated a nutrition component into home-based care for orphans and vulnerable children. The children receive maize, soya flour, and nuts as nutritional supplements. FHI/Malawi also teaches community members about the importance of a diverse diet and promotes communal gardens, low-input agriculture, and drip-irrigation kits for gardening.

MARCH 2005 — Kaisernetwork.org has profiled an Atlanta Journal-Constitution article that highlights three upcoming clinical trials of the antiretroviral drug Viread.
