Côte d'Ivoire Observes World AIDS Day

DECEMBER 2007 — To mark World AIDS Day 2007, FHI/Côte d'Ivoire provided technical support and funding derived from USAID to "Journées des Enterprises," a knowledge-exchange in Abidjan on workplace HIV testing and counseling programs.

New Partnership Reaches Cocoa Farmers in Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana

JUNE 2007 — Family Health International (FHI), the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) and National Confectioners Association (NCA) have joined forces to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and malaria in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. The new partnership is working with cocoa farmers, their families and agricultural communities in cocoa-growing regions of both countries to increase awareness and strengthen prevention of HIV/AIDS and malaria.

Côte d'Ivoire Minister of Health Visits FHI

FHI Awarded Five-Year Cooperative Agreement

NOVEMBER 2004 — FHI has been awarded a five-year cooperative agreement with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This project will focus on developing the capacities of local organizations to manage and expand clinical services for highly vulnerable populations throughout Côte d'Ivoire.
