FHI Builds Belize Ministry of Health Leadership Skills
APRIL 2005 — The IMPACT Project and Management Sciences for Health delivered a Virtual Leadership Development Program (VLDP) in the Caribbean region, addressing workplace challenges while teaching leadership skills. The Belizean VLDP team successfully completed their mission to increase HIV testing in newborns of HIV-positive women. Read about the committed team's experiences in the full article.

Reaching Out to Young People in the Caribbean
DECEMBER 2003 — Many young people targeted by nongovernmental organizations working on HIV/AIDS have responded by participating in training, drama creation, competitions, and media events. New activities for young people in the Caribbean include:
- In St. Lucia, drama shows highlight challenges of HIV/AIDS, sponsored by the Yaticka Youth Group.
- In St. Kitts, the National Youth Parliament (NYP) offered a Youth-2-Youth retrecariat to increase sexual and reproductive health in youth.
