Report Examines MSM Populations in Urban Cambodia
NOVEMBER 2004 — Men Who Have Sex with Men in Phnom Penh, Cambodia: Population Size and Sex Trade examines the heterogeneous groups and subgroups of MSM frequenting public meeting places in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to better understand their population size and mobility. The research includes a qualitative study on the exchange of sex for money among MSM. The population size estimate survey, which ran for one week at 24 locations where MSM gather, analyzed responses from more than 1,200 respondents.

Report Explores Cambodian Uniformed Services HIV/AIDS Efforts
OCTOBER 2004 —FHI/Cambodia released Strong Fighting: Sexual Behavior and HIV/AIDS in the Cambodian Uniformed Services to report on HIV/AIDS prevention efforts. Strong Fighting provides both the evidence and the context for the design of effective HIV/AIDS interventions aimed at uniformed services and other men in Cambodia. Strong Fighting also explores the beliefs held by uniformed servicemen that influence their sexual decisions, including stigma surrounding condoms, ignorance about HIV transmission and personal risk-assessment criteria.
