Global Health Council Annual Conference May 29–June 1, 2007, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

Gail Goodridge, MA is Director of the Regional Outreach Addressing AIDS through Development Strategies Project, a multisectoral HIV/AIDS program in 9 countries in East and Central Africa along the major transport corridors.
Kavita Nanda, MD, MHS, is a Medical Scientist in the Clinical Research Division with Family Health International. Dr. Nanda has specific responsibility for development, technical oversight, and overall management of various research projects. She is an also active participant in corporate research fund-raising activities.
Heidi W. Reynolds, PhD is a Research Scientist in FHI's Health Services Research Division. Dr. Reynolds acts as principal investigator and technical monitor for several major applied research and program evaluation activities including research on the costs and effectiveness of integrated family planning.
Michael J. Welsh, PhD, MA, is the Vice President for the Field, Information and Technical Services Department, Family Health International. In this capacity, Dr. Welsh provides management oversight and technical direction to the FHI's field programs, research utilization, and behavior change communication and training activities.

Developed as part of USAID's Maximizing Access and Quality IUD Toolkit subcommittee, this toolkit provides comprehensive, standardized, scientifically accurate, and evidence-based information on the IUD. It also provides guidance on best practices and tools to help improve access to and the quality of IUD services.
